Board Approves New Statutory Auditor

Shriram Properties Limited has appointed M/s Abarna & Ananthan, Chartered Accountants, as its new statutory auditor for a five-year term. The board approved the appointment on July 23, 2026, based on recommendations from the Audit Committee.

The firm replaces M/s Walker Chandiok & Co LLP, which has completed two consecutive terms in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval and becomes effective from the conclusion of the company's fifth post-IPO annual general meeting.

About the Incoming Auditor

Abarna & Ananthan was established in 1987 and holds registration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The firm is empanelled with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The firm comprises 14 partners and operates across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai. Beyond assurance functions, it specializes in tax consultancy for direct and indirect taxes, including GST. The incoming firm brings significant experience in assurance functions for real estate and listed companies, which the board determined aligns with Shriram Properties' operational profile.

Audit Committee Oversight

The appointment was recommended by the Audit Committee and approved by the board. This transition reflects Shriram Properties' commitment to maintaining robust financial oversight and regulatory compliance as a listed entity on Indian stock exchanges.
