Aurum RealEstate Developers Sells Further 1.53 Lakh Shriram Properties Shares (June 3–5, 2026), Reducing Promoter Group Stake to 13.12%

Aurum RealEstate Developers Limited sold 1,53,000 equity shares in Shriram Properties Limited between June 3 and June 5, 2026, for ₹1,37,59,131.62, reducing the promoter's holding from 13.21% to 13.12%. The transaction was disclosed to the company on June 5, 2026, under Regulation 7(2) of the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015.

Prior to this disposal, Aurum RealEstate Developers held 2,25,48,862 shares, accounting for 13.21% of the company's equity. Following the transaction, the entity's shareholding has decreased to 2,23,95,862 equity shares, constituting 13.12% of the total paid-up share capital of Shriram Properties Limited. The sale of 1,53,000 shares, representing 0.09% of the share capital, was executed entirely via the market mechanism.

Recent Trading Activity

This marks the second block of share sales by Aurum RealEstate Developers in consecutive trading windows. The entity had previously sold 1,00,000 equity shares between May 29 and June 2, 2026, reducing its stake from 13.27% to 13.21%. Combined, the two tranches totalled 2,53,000 shares over a seven-day span.

Shriram Properties Financial Position

Shriram Properties reported a consolidated net profit of ₹101 crores for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, a 30% increase from the previous year, with revenue from operations of ₹1,357 crores, a 39% year-on-year increase marking an all-time high. The company achieved its highest-ever annual handovers, delivering 3,465 homes and plots in FY26.

Management guidance for FY27 includes sales volume of 5–5.5 million square feet, sales value of ₹3,300–3,500 crores, collections of ₹2,100–2,200 crores, and handovers of 3,750–3,800 units, with plans to add 7–8 million square feet to its pipeline with a GDV addition of ₹5,000–6,000 crores.

During the year, the company successfully resolved long-pending Kolkata land matters with the Government of West Bengal through the conveyance of 42.37 acres of land. Shriram Properties forayed into the Western India market with a maiden launch at Undri, Pune, selling over 300 units in less than a year.
