Aurum RealEstate Reduces Shriram Properties Stake to 13.21%

Aurum RealEstate Developers Limited sold 1,00,000 equity shares in Shriram Properties Limited between May 29 and June 2, 2026, reducing its stake from 13.27% to 13.21%. The transaction, valued at ₹89,89,906, was disclosed to the company on June 2, 2026, under Regulation 7(2) of the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015.

Transaction Details

Prior to the disposal, Aurum RealEstate Developers held 2,26,48,862 shares, accounting for 13.27% of the company's equity. Following the transaction, the entity's shareholding decreased to 2,25,48,862 equity shares, constituting 13.21% of the total paid-up share capital of Shriram Properties Limited. The sale of 1,00,000 shares, representing 0.06% of the share capital, was executed entirely via the market mechanism.

The disclosure was submitted in Form C, detailing the change in holding by the promoter group entity. No transactions in derivatives by the promoter entity occurred during the relevant period.

Shriram Properties' Recent Performance

Shriram Properties reported a consolidated net profit of ₹101 crores for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, a 30% increase from the previous year. Revenue from operations for the year stood at ₹1,357 crores, a 39% year-on-year increase, marking an all-time high.

The company achieved its highest-ever annual handovers, delivering 3,465 homes and plots in FY26. This included the handover of 1,348 units in Q4FY26 alone, which significantly aided revenue recognition. Sales bookings for the year reached ₹2,354 crores across 4.15 million square feet. Customer collections also reached a record high of ₹1,661 crores, growing 12% year-on-year.

The company added 7 new projects during the year with an aggregate development potential of 3.5 million square feet and a Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹3,500 crores. During the year, the company successfully resolved long-pending Kolkata land matters with the Government of West Bengal through the conveyance of 42.37 acres of land. Additionally, Shriram Properties forayed into the Western India market with a maiden launch at Undri, Pune, selling over 300 units in less than a year.
